Student Council is an organization of students that is supervised by adults.  The general purpose of student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects.  In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body with a responsibility of making Silver City the best school possible!  They help share student ideas, interests and concerns within the school-wide community.  It is open to all third, fourth and fifth grade students and those elected will have an opportunity to represent Silver City Elementary.  Meeting times and goals will be determined once elections are completed.
